I reside on a south-facing beach along the Eastern North Carolina coast. Due to our unique orientation, there are times of the year when we are treated to both sunrise and sunset right on the beach. Each impression in my artwork mirrors the interplay of light, the sounds of tourists enjoying themselves, and the vibrant hues of a summer sunset.
 
This series abstractly captures everything we cherish about summer, presenting a vivid, tropical celebration of the season. Each piece pulses with the energy of a coastal summer, featuring the bright colors of beachgoers' swimsuits, whimsical floats in the sea, and the dramatic interplay of light and shadows during summer storms and beneath soaring kites.
