She steps forward without fear —
into the light,
into what comes next.
She is more prepared now
for the battles,
for the beauty,
for whatever lies ahead.
She shakes off the tired and the weary,
the weight of what was carried too long.
She remembers joy.
She allows herself to feel free again.
Freedom.
Courage.
Confidence.
Alignment.
Forgiveness comes more easily now.
So does joy.
So does ease.
She arrives.
The miracle of this life will not be wasted.
She places the crown upon her head —
not because she is perfect,
but because she is present.
Because she stayed open.
Because she chose to believe again.
Happy New Year, she declares —
loud enough for the world to hear.
 
Let us go gently.
Let us go with courage.
Let us go with love.
Let us go with confidence.
This is my New Year’s wish:
May there be more comfort and joy in the world.
May we choose love over fear.
May we believe.
We shake off a year that asked us to face our deepest fears.
We pause to honor what it taught us.
We pause to find gratitude for the moments of amazement it held —
for the light,
for the joy,
even there.
And still, we believe.
This is the year we emerge from shock and awe,
standing steady,
standing awake.
Not hardened —
but clear.
We remember that we are love.
We remember that we are light.
We remember that we are magic.
